Is there any particular reason why Bethesda's games are so glitchy? Is it because of the engine that they use, or is it mainly because of the fact that they are open world games with a lot of content.

Then why was Skyrim kinda glitchy at first? It used a brand new engine the Creation engine.

It's still a new engine, is it not? Plus a lot of the things are taken from Gamebryo.
